If you have been following my blog for awhile, you should know that I made my own Wedding Binder.
However, wedding binders can become heavy and are hard to travel with!
This is why I decided to make a smaller, much more travel friendly, Wedding Planner.
This was originally posted in my Bridal Show Tips post!
This Wedding Planner is made from an old Happy Planner that I had lying around the house! That is where the cover is from!
This particular planner that I am using is no longer available for sale, but I am sure that you could use any Happy Planner cover. You could even get a customized one from Etsy, I am sure.
I did change out the rings from my old planner, as these gold ones matched the feel of Wedding better than the Pink ones that originally came with the planner.
I found this Create 365 pen case at Hobby Lobby that was made to put on the rings of the Happy Planner. I put a pen, a pencil, a highlighter and some post it notes inside of this case to have readily available whenever I needed to bring this planner with me.
I then printed out a smaller version of the calendar pages that I am using in my binder to be able to add in appointments and other wedding related dates while out and about. This calendar is from Shining Mom!
I just used a regular hole punch and made slits to place these into the planner, but if you have a Happy Planner punch, that would work a lot better!
I then included the Happy Planner Wedding Extension to help me with all of my planning. It has a great Checklist that you can follow to help along with each month of planning! It definitely is a lifesaver so you don’t forget anything!
The last thing that I added in were these Happy Planner Notes Pages. These were really nice to have so that I could add any additional notes or write down any questions I may have needed to ask a vendor!
This planner definitely helped me with my planning in one way or another. It was nice to have something small that fit in my bag when I was going to check out different venues and vendors. I was able to pull it out and write down any information I needed as well as fill in appointments that we made in the calendar. Once I was home, I transferred over any important information into my Wedding Binder.
